Program Overview

The DAFI scholarship program (Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative) provides refugee students with the opportunity to pursue higher education in their countries of asylum. The program is funded by the German government and implemented by UNHCR.

Eligibility Requirements

• Refugee Status: Must be a registered Afghan refugee in Pakistan
• Age: Usually between 19 and 30 years old
• Academic Achievement: Strong academic performance with proof of previous education
• Enrollment: Must be enrolled or applying to an accredited educational institution
• Financial Need: Demonstrated need for financial assistance
